Business Case:

Lack of Vocational training services has the devastating potential to create a severe of economic impacts. Young people have straggled with life and they need a hand that can support them through vocational training that can equip them with constructive Knowledge and reliable Skills. It is noticed that 60% of youths in their productive years, lack direction which has contributed greatly in affecting the development and economic out-put of the country. In Malaysia, youths contribute 50% to the economy of the country.

Malaysia was one of developing countries in the world. A large proportion of young people in Malaysia have received little or no formal schooling. Most of them are unemployed. They are being denied even the most basic, most practical vocational education and their chances of ever finding a paid job are very slim indeed.

Accessing young people with practical vocational trainings and thus to the job market; In Malaysia, the projects take place not close to the rightful locations/people. This means that over 45% of youths are forced to leave their social and cultural environment, which thus makes training and education even more difficult. In the countryside, there is a heavy emphasis on various programs for the adults than youth manual vocations. The skills are being taught to meet country's demands.

A number of initiatives have been created to support and provide services to the community. These include a wide range of Skills including rigger, pipefitter, painting and scaffolding. All these groups are important in oil and gas and construction industries.

To enforce this principle, the Weldzone Training Centre Sdn Bhd has developed certification schemes, enabling employers to ensure their staff are correctly trained to carry out technical training program.


The main purpose of this program is: -

To develop technical and professional manpower or human resources who are competent in the various categories Technical skill with high quality and multi skilled to support the industry needs to achieve the government vision of the higher income worker in economic development of the family and the state reached.

To reduce training burden incurred by these individuals and the self in the search for well-equipped training and modern for those who wish to pursue a technical career and self development.

To upgrade skills development institutes as a construction related management, test and evaluate the skills and accreditation of skilled workers, as well as technical training centre which could offers various courses in the latest skills and expertise in oil and gas, petrochemical industries, utilities, manufacturing and fabrication, shipping, engineering, aerospace, automobile, power, health and safety, railway and construction industry.

To assist the government addressing the shortage of skilled and semi-skilled person, and the issue of foreign experts as well as to assist the government and the private sector to produce certified personnel.
